New York Minute started out with 2 concepts.  The second one was chosen for the ‘intimate’ feel and the fit it had with the title.  Again, lack of time was a factor for this cover.  Jo employed similiar coloring technique as detailed in the ITW6 cover entry: Shade in BW first, before layering the colors over it. 

NYM’s shipped - on the plane on its way to Fanime at time of this post.  A final reminder that the pre-order for NYM, Q book and ITW1 Manga ends tonight (May 22, midnight PST).  Any orders placed after this time will only receive the extra goods per availability (from the convention).

Taking 10 minute break from work. Figured might as well do something useful… Like post something on tumblr. LOL The conversation when my 15year old saw the sketch: Mikee: *blinks* Kevin READS? Me: Yep. It’s his favorite thing to do. Aside from annoying Travis.Mikee: Huh. I thought buff good-looking dudes only went around flexing muscles and chasing girls.Me: He does that too. When he’s working. Mikee: Ah. So… Travis likes cleaning, cooking and carpentry. Fu likes fixing trucks. And Kevin… reads. Me: Yep. Mikee: For a badass demon, he’s weird. LOL Me: Yep. LOL
